PPI holds roadshow on the auction of the São Simão, Jaguara, Volta Grande and Miranda

Roadshow Usinas Hidrelétricas

The auction of São Simão, Jaguara, Volta Grande and Miranda energy plants, a project that is part of the Investment Partnerships Program (PPI), has been raising the interest of the energy sector. And in order to present the project's general characteristics, PPI will carry out a roadshow that will happen today at anex II of Brazilian Government Seat, Palácio do Planalto, in order to clarify doubts (regarding the assets to be granted) and contextualize the target public about the plants current scenario.

The event, which takes place today and tomorrow (16), counts on the participation of potential investors, national and international banks, as well as representatives of the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL), the Ministry of Mines and Energy, the Ministry of Planning , the Ministry of Finance and the Federal Attorney General's Office (AGU).

For the PPI deputy executive secretary, Adalberto Vasconcelos, these concessions are considered as one of the best investments of the Program. “Investors will have the opportunity to compete for highly profitable assets with immediate revenue streams. The investor and the society win with the improvement in the service”, he points out.

The public session is scheduled for September 27 at the São Paulo Stock Exchange. The object of the auction is the granting of concession for 30 years for the operation, maintenance and improvements to the premises of hydroelectric plant, upon receipt of Annual Generation Revenue - RAG, fixed in auction notice, for the provision of the physical guarantee of energy and power in quotas.

These concessions were included in the Investment Partnerships Program – PPI and qualified as a national priority in the energy sector, under the terms of Decree No. 8,893 of November 1, 2016.
