Project Summary

Early extension of the concession term of the Terminal XXXIX in the Port of Santos, state of São Paulo, with new investments.

The Santos Terminal XXXIX inquiry is part of a redesign of the area called "Ponta da Praia", in the Port of Santos. It comes from the need to improve efficiency for the export of grains, in the most important Brazilian public port, in line with a series of other initiatives in other terminals in the port.

The case in question involves an extension of the contract PRES 01/97, which would be terminated on October 16, 2025, for a further 25 years, through the provision of new investments.

The investment plan approved by the Granting Authority foresees a contribution of approximately R$ 252 million, destined to increase the efficiency in the export of grains, through an increase in the static capacity by the implantation of three concrete silos and expansion of the warehouse; Increased road and rail reception capacity; And increased shipment capacity through the deployment of a new shiploader with a capacity of 2,500 t / h, as well as the replacement of existing conveyor belts.

The new investments will enable the terminal's capacity increase from approximately 2.5 million tonnes to around 5 million tonnes per year.
